Died – LONG ILLNESS PROVES FATAL – MRS. CHARLES FISHER DIES FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN FALL SIX YEARS AGO

Mrs. Josephine McArtor Fisher, aged 87 years, resident of Rogers, passed away at the home of her sister, Mary McArtor, Rogers, after a long illness which followed when she fell six years ago and sustained a broken hip. Since that time Mrs. Fisher has been an invalid.

Born on April 3, 1849, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton McArtor and in 1893 was married to Charles Fisher, who preceded her in death in 1903. She had made her home in Wisconsin for 12 years.

She is survived by her sister, Mary and three brothers, George, Salem; Chalkley, East Palestine and William of Long Beach, Calif.

The body was removed to the Warrick Funeral Home and Monday morning was taken to her home in Rogers where funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p. m. Rev. Thomas Maxwell, pastor of the Rogers M. E. church officiated. Interment was made in East Fairfield cemetery.”
